New Music Monday - No Mind No Money by Beach Baby

London's Beach Baby are back with a new single, No Mind No Money, and a hauntingly beautiful companion video directed by Lily Rose Thomas. This British quartet is going to play an important role in my soundtrack for this summer. Their sound is muscular and wistful, an airier variation on Doves or Starsailor. The video has the gauzy, soft-focus feel of a Sofia Coppola movie, lingering shots and longing looks interspersed with manic joy. The single for No Mind No Money comes out June 23rd on B3SCI Records in the US and Chess Club Records in the UK.
