Tuesday, March 15 marks the 11th anniversary of IOTA Club and Cafe opening it's doors. Located in the Clarendon section of Arlington, the club has hosted national acts such as Norah Jones, Frank Black, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Glen Phillips, Colin Hay, The Thrills, Jason Mraz, Ray Manzarek of The Doors and many others.
Last year, for the 10th anniversary, the club held a month-long celebration. Though there are no known plans for cake or big festivities this year, there will be live music on the club's birthday. Mike Holden And His Band, Laura Burhenn and David Andrew Smith will play. This is a 21 and over show, and the music starts at 8:30pm. I normally avoid shameless plugs for my own music on this blog, but IOTA's birthday is news and my band is playing that night. I had to get this one in here. -MH
