The first of the monthly ArlingtonMusicScene.com Happy Hours at IOTA Club and Cafe takes place this Wednesday, October 20 from 6pm to 8pm. Come network with musicians and other members of the music community. Everyone is welcome. There will be no live music being played during the 6-8pm happy hour, giving people the chance to talk outside of the typical show scene. Those interested in playing or checking out live music can stick around for IOTA's weekly open mic. Sign-up for that begins around 8:30.
IOTA is located at 2832 Wilson Boulevard in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, VA. Wilson Boulevard starts in Rosslyn, which is just across the river from Washington D.C. IOTA is just a couple miles up on Wilson, between Edgewood and Fillmore Streets. The club is also two and a half blocks East of the Clarendon Metro Station on the Orange Line.
