Plug In with the Indigo Girls - 'Happy In The Sorrow Key'

Long known for their stripped down folk songs that served as a counterpoint to their rich vocal harmonies, the Indigo Girls go electric on their new single 'Happy In The Sorrow Key'. Written by Amy Ray in the wake of her father's unexpected death in 2013, the song balances lyrics about the impermanence of life with a supercharged guitar riff reminiscent of Hole's Eric Erlandson. 'Happy In The Sorrow Key' is the lead single off the Indigo Girls' forthcoming One Lost Day, the band's 14th studio album. One Lost Day will be released on June 2 on Vanguard Records.
