Cherry Blossom Festival Musical Performances

Held each each year, to commemorate a 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, D.C., the National Cherry Blossom Festival features two weeks of events, including live music, from March 26 through April 10.

Cultural Performances at the Tidal Basin Stage

The Tidal Basin Stage plays host to a wide range of performances, from Japanese culture groups to local acoustic musicians.

Cherry Blossom Festival Concert

International Drumming Showcase

International drumming groups join local DC drumlines in an exciting drumming showcase. The exhibition will feature the taiko drummers of Tamagawa University - one of the top 15 taiko performing groups in Japan.
